Anal Fissure is a small cut in the lining of the rectum which causes discomfort and bleeding while passing stool. Haemorrhoids or Piles are swollen veins which protrude outside and also cause discomfort and bleeding while passing the stool. The Piles can be internal or external. The most common cause for both Anal Fissure and Haemorrhoids is chronic constipation resulting in hard stool. When you have to strain to pass the stool both the fissure and haemorrhoids can happen.
